Eulophia streptopetala x macowanii

New novel hybrid between two yellow flowered species with reddish brown markings. The cross was made to create plants with the large flowers and cold hardiness of E. macowanii and floriferous nature of E. streptopetala. Can be grown on a patio in the warmer months and stored in an unheated greenhouse or shed when dormant. By taking an average of the two species we expect mature plants to have over 30 flowers, 3cm or more across and on stems reaching over 1 m tall.
