Grassland terrestrial from the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal hence cool to intermediate temperatures and bright light requirements. Can be grown on a sunny patio in the warmer months and stored in an unheated greenhouse or shed when dormant. Up to 20, 5cm flowers are produced on stems reaching 40cm. The sepals are purple/red with yellow petals and red veins at the base of the lip
