Dendrobium tapiniense

A floriferous and attractive Latouria Dendrobium with up to 15, long lived, creamy white flowers with numerous purple markings. The lip is lobed, distinctly undulating and has radiating purple veins. The flowers are scented, up to 5cm across and each cane can produce flower spikes over several years. This orchid grow naturally in the central New Guinea highlands and can be grown in cool through to intermediate conditions with even watering throughout most the year although slightly less in the winter.
